Today was an inspiring day at Magdalena. We welcomed Abhinav Gupta, founder of Breethr, to a Magdalena village, where he met with residents Maureen Peters and Christi Kuhn to begin a meaningful collaboration focused on healthier living through advanced air-systems.

Magdalena is thrilled to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Blue Lakes Village in Lake County, California. This milestone marks Magdalena’s first deployment of homes outside of Mendocino County, expanding our footprint into a region known for its natural beauty, vibrant community, and proximity to the lake.

We’re thrilled to share that five new Magdalena homes are on their way to Anderson Valley before the end of the year. This marks a major milestone for our team, our investors, and the community. Five homes may not sound like much on paper, but in a rural area like ours, they represent a real, tangible difference — more housing for local residents, new opportunities for property owners, and a visible step toward addressing the region’s housing shortage.

We are excited to share an important milestone in Magdalena’s journey: we have signed a preliminary memorandum of understanding to build and deploy dozens of new housing units in Mendocino County over the next 6 to 12 months.

We’re excited to announce a new enhancement to our M1 prefab studio design: we’ve extended the length of each unit by two feet, bringing the total length to 32 feet. This adds about 16 square feet of extra space—just the right amount to incorporate a full-size closet right next to the washer and dryer area.

On its journey north from Oakland, our newest M1 studio turned plenty of heads as it made its way up Highway 101 — just over 100 miles to its new stop in Yorkville. From the city streets to the rolling hills, drivers slowed down, pointed, and snapped photos of the modern tiny home gliding past.

We’re thrilled to share that our latest M1 transportable studio is currently docked in the Port of Los Angeles and will be making its way north to the Port of Oakland this Sunday. From there, it will complete the final leg of its journey to Anderson Valley, where it will become a new home for a member of our growing community.
